昼食後、午後の手術にとりかかります。
12:00～13:00 昼食（全員）
LUNCH. Medical staff may stagger their lunch by 15 minutes or take overall less time.
昼食。医療スタッフは、15分ずつ昼食の時間をずらすか、短めに済ませます。
13:00～15:00 午後の手術（獣医師、看護師、および助手）
Veterinarian will spay/neuter all afternoon patients.
獣医師は午後の患者の避妊去勢手術を実施します。
Technician & Vet Assistant continue to induce and prep all afternoon patients.
看護師と助手は、午後のすべての患者の誘導と準備を続けます。
15:00～17:00 回復（獣医師、看護師、および助手）
When the Vet is on the last two cats of the day, the surgical staff should begin to clean all areas of surgical units. All instruments should be cleaned and sterilized before the end of the day. This part of the clean up process should take about 60 minutes. The Vet can recover the patients while support staff is cleaning. Remember that most animals need a minimum of 2 hours recovery before they can go home.
手術予定の猫が残り2匹になったとき、手術スタッフは、手術室全体の清掃を開始します。その日の終わりまでに、すべての器具を洗浄し、滅菌します。この清掃作業には約60分かかります。サポートスタッフが掃除をしている間に、獣医師は患者を回復させます。ほとんどの動物は帰宅するまでに最低2時間の回復が必要であることを覚えておいてください。
HQHVSNスタイルの手術では、1人の獣医師が2台の手術台を行き来しながら手術を行います。空いている方の手術台に最後の患者のスタンバイができたら、助手の仕事はひとまず終了で、後片付けに移行します。
Any dogs who arrived in carriers or cats who are fully recovered from surgery (cats that were done earliest in surgical schedule) should have their incisions checked and loaded into their carriers so those cages can be cleaned before any staff leaves. This clean-up time is in addition to the 60 minutes above.
キャリーに入れてきた犬や、手術から完全に回復した猫（手術スケジュールの中で最も早く終わった猫）は、スタッフが帰る前にケージを掃除できるように、切開部分をチェックしてキャリーに入れてください。この掃除の時間は、上記の60分とは別の時間です。
13:00～16:00 午後の事務対応（事務員）
OS continues with all office duties. Continues to check with surgical staff during the day to see if they need help. Before the end of scheduled shift, the OS should have all invoices posted & emailed, messages cleared from machine & clients calls returned and office tidy.
事務員は通常の事務対応を継続します。日中、手術スタッフに助けが必要かどうかを確認し続けます。予定されたシフトが終了する前に、事務員はすべての請求書を掲示してEメールで送信し、留守番電話のメッセージを消去して顧客からの電話に応答し、オフィスを整頓します。
16:00～17:30 ケージの清掃（事務員および助手）
Release dogs starting at 4:00 (since dogs are done first in surgical rotation). Clean cages as soon as animal leaves. Cat release at 4:45/5:00. All remaining cages can be cleaned and lobby mopped. Last two staff to leave at 5:45.
犬の解放は16時から（犬は手術のローテーションで最初に行われるため）。動物が退出したらすぐにケージを清掃します。猫は16:45～17:00に解放します。残っているケージをすべて掃除し、ロビーをモップで掃除します。17:45に最後のスタッフ2名が退出します。
