Random mixing【混合収容】
haphazard placement of animals originating from different groups together ※1
異なるグループの動物を無作為に一緒に収容すること
Re-home【リホーム①】
to adopt or place in a private home setting ※1
譲渡すること、または個人宅に入れること
Rehoming【リホーム②】
If a cat is homed (see above) and that cat has previously been in a home with an owner (at some point in its past), then this is referred to as‘rehoming’※2
猫がhomingされた場合（上記参照）、その猫が過去に飼い主のいる家庭にいたことがある場合、これをrehomingと呼ぶ。

Rounds【巡回】
a process of walking through the shelter to visually observe and monitor the needs, status, health, and well-being of every animal ※1

Sanctuary【サンクチュアリ】
A facility where cats are kept with a view to permanent care rather than homing or rehoming ※2
homing やrehomingではなく、終生飼養を目的として猫を飼育する施設

Sanitation【衛生】
procedures of cleaning and disinfection to remove dirt and control and destroy pathogens in the environment ※1
汚れを除去し、環境中の病原体を制御・破壊するための洗浄・消毒の手順
Sedation【鎮静】
A state of CNS depression in which the animal is awake but calm, and with sufficient stimuli may be aroused. ※3
中枢神経系が抑制された状態で、動物は目を覚ましているが落ち着いており、十分な刺激があれば目を覚ますことができる。
Shelter【シェルター】
A facility where cats are kept, mainly for the purposes of homing or rehoming ※2
